Richard Pitt has had an extensive background in the insurance industry and today leads the largest network of independent insurance brokers in the UK. His career has ranged from senior roles with major brands like RBS through to leading a 100 person insurance brokerage and today supporting and large network of small business owners. Richard knows that setting up and running your own small business can be incredibly empowering and energising. However it also requires a change of mindset and can be very isolating. Richard is therefore known by many as a practical and positive critical friend. Richard is a happily married 49 year old father of three who lives in Worcestershire, England with his wife (Lisa), youngest son (William) and dog (Nelson), named after Nelson Mandela as he joined his family the same week that Nelson Mandela passed away.
