John Jennings and Nick Wain have joined Chris Cooper
I am delighted that both John Jennings (Associate Director) and Nick Wain (Business Elevation Associate) are now working within the Chris Cooper brand.
John and Chris worked together on developing and delivering an employee engagement programme for The University of Leicester International MBA Programme. Such was the feedback and enjoyment of the experience that they decided they would love to work together. John is an expert in employee engagement, culture change, bespoke customer service skills, and resolution of major operational issues. This is derived from over 34 years of operational and executive board-level experience in both the public and private sectors for organisations, including Prudential, Egg, Experian and Totemic as well as the Curve Theatre in Leicester. He has led global teams and studied employee engagement and retention techniques across different cultures. He regularly lectures and presents on the key competitive advantages that business leaders can gain by placing an employee-centric approach at the heart of business strategy. He is also a former Branch Chairman of The Institute of Directors. John will be playing a lead role in the development and delivery of our ‘Elevation Through Engagement’ programmes.
Nick, worked with Chris Cooper during their sales days at Mars Confectionery. Nick brings a strong sales and marketing focus with experience working for large corporate organisations such as Mars and Whitbread where he spent over 23 years in a variety of account and channel management roles. During this time he enjoyed much success and gained several major sales and marketing awards. He has worked across many environments including:
Food and drink manufacturing and wholesaling, Catering / coffee shops / bakery, Training, change management, Design and marketing, Light engineering and fabrication, Retail, local authority, education, healthcare, leisure and horeca markets. Nick is emotionally intelligent and very ethical by nature, he takes time with and has a genuine interest in people, and always seeks ‘win-win’ solutions. Nick is playing a key sales role within Chris Cooper.
