Stakeholder Engagement with Alex Catmur, Nelly Twumasi-Mensah and Chris Cooper

There has never been a time when it has been easier to connect with stakeholders. Yet how do we truly engage them such that we implement change initiatives effectively? My guests are Alex Catmur who has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors helping them make the most of their information assets. He is an expert at helping them optimise the use of technology to deliver value for clients and build long-term resilience across organisations.  Also, Nelly Twumasi-Mensah who specialises in delivering and embedding transformational change with a focus on managing and motivating individuals and teams to achieve the benefits of change programmes.  A chartered member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (RICS), she has a background in Project Management; successfully delivering multi million-pound construction projects and programmes for large private and public sector clients. Join us as we discuss the practical ways to build exceptional stakeholder engagement.

This episode will be airing live on 24th May 2019 at 8am(PT)/11am(EST)/4pm(GMT). To listen live or later from the archive please visit http://www.voiceamerica.com/show/1959/

More about Alexander and Nelly:

Alex has a passion for figuring out how emerging technologies can apply to real-world problems.  With a background in project & programme management, he has worked with clients across a wide range of sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, Banking and Water, helping them make the most of their information assets.

These days, he helps optimise the use of technology to deliver value for clients and build long-term resilience across organisations. His work includes shaping business strategy, defining transformational business change programmes, driving the adoption of new and innovative solutions, and guiding businesses through the myriad of opportunities, and challenges, that new and emerging technologies offer the construction industry.

Outside of work he is a proud father, a husband, an allotment gardener and a keen runner. When time allows, he also helps run a 300-strong softball league.

As a business change leader, Nelly specialises in delivering and embedding transformational change with a focus on managing and motivating individuals and teams to achieve the benefits of change programmes.

A chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), she has a background in Project Management; successfully delivering multi million-pound construction projects and programmes for large private and public sector clients.

This unique blend of expertise means that she has great insight into the success factors needed to successfully transform traditional industries like the construction industry. Nelly is passionate about mentoring young people and as a CITB ambassador works with schools and colleges to promote STEM careers.

‘I am more than pleased to share my experience of the TEP programme. For me it has been an invaluable part of my own learning and development for several reasons. The books that we have studied have always resonated with the place that I have been at that time. To study a book with a group of like minded individuals, all professional and all keen to develop themselves and others has made me read with a depth that I would normally not use. The result being a richness of understanding that I can apply and want to apply, into my business immediately The guests that you have invited to to talk about their journeys have left their own gift with me – one of them being a depth and breadth of stories to illustrate points on my own programmes. And finally, for me the sense of not being alone, in my loft, in pursuit of my own personal success, but being able to feedback and to celebrate successes together. This is a fantastic community to belong and a commitment to my own personal success and to that of others. Thank you Chris for having and holding the vision’ Carroll Macey, Managing Director CM2C Change Management Consultancy (Nottinghamshire) http://www.cm2c.com.
