The Elevation Collective™ UK Gathering

In April, we had an inspiring gathering of some of the UK members of the The Elevation Collective™. From left to right Barnaby Wynter, Hilary Wilson, John Jennings, Judy Piatkus, Shobana Kataria, Elisabet Vinberg-Hearn, Jane Gunn and Sue Richardson.
It was great to hear how some initiatives are now happening because of The Elevation Collective™. Barnaby was sharing his ‘White Allyship’ programme former within the community where he is helping to educate white business leaders about how to effectively engage and support the development of black employees and elevate diversity in their businesses.
A common theme was the realisation that the Elevation Collective is promoting behaviours that we all need to see more of in this world. Being prepared to lead with wisdom, kindness, equality, listening, a desire to always learn and a lightness of touch (whilst leaving ego at the door) is producing exceptional ripples amongst our communities.
A group of young graduates recently asked me to recommend organisations they could consider working for that would make them ‘better people’. There is enormous opportunity by coming together to challenge ourselves to step up and behave well. Do this and we will also create organisations and movements that do produce better people and impact a better world.
