Reflections from Summer’s Elevation Collective™ Quarterly Event

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making our recent Elevation Collective Summer quarterly event truly special. Your presence and participation enriched the experience, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration. For those who couldn’t make it, rest assured there will be more opportunities to connect and engage in the future.

We are especially grateful to David Fox-Pitt MBE, Gene Early, and Wendy Keller for their outstanding contributions, which significantly deepened our exploration of the 10X concept.

Highlights and Key Takeaways

Together we have compiled some of the most impactful insights:

1. David Fox-Pitt MBE and Hopefull: A 10X Example in Action

David Fox-Pitt’s story is a powerful example of the 10X mindset in action. When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, David responded by driving a vehicle full of aid to the border, not knowing where this path would lead. This initial act of compassion evolved into the creation of the charity Hopefull, which has since attracted significant attention and support. Today, Hopefull serves 4,000-5,000 pizzas per day near the frontline, thanks to the dedication of 335 volunteers. David’s journey underscores the power of taking decisive action and how it can inspire others to join in making a difference.

2. Gene Early on Mindset: From 1X to 10X

Gene Early challenged us to consider our current mindsets and impacts as being at 1X. He then asked us to envision what 10X might look like for each of us—a mindset that encourages personal growth and amplifies our contributions. This concept resonated deeply with attendees, offering a valuable perspective to carry forward.

3. Wendy Keller on Publishing, Platform Building, and Podcasting

Wendy Keller provided a wealth of practical tips on how to elevate our impact through publishing, platform building, and podcasting. She also highlighted how our personal styles influence our approach to achieving 10X. As part of our community’s ongoing journey, we are embracing Talent Dynamics, which will be further explored during our upcoming Harvest Gathering. Wendy’s insights into podcasting were particularly appreciated, and she has graciously provided a summary of her advice, which you can access here.

4. Remembering Dr. Wallace J. Nichols

During the event, we also took a moment to honor the memory of Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, a marine biologist and author of The Blue Mind, who recently passed away. His work and the recent loss of friends to cancer served as poignant reminders of the importance of making every moment count. In times of increasing challenge and conflict, there is a pressing need for wise, experienced, and kind-hearted individuals to step up and collaborate—perhaps this is why we find ourselves in such times.

5. Building a Community of Exceptional Individuals

Finally, I left the event with a profound sense of wonder at the exceptional quality of people in attendance. It is an honour to know and introduce you all. Together, we are creating something truly special—a community that is committed to making a positive impact in the world.

New Elevation Collective Circle: A new circle will begin in early 2025. If you are not a member, but you’re interested in joining, please reach out, and we can arrange a conversation to explore this opportunity.
