10 Elevations For Thriving and Doing Good In The World Today with Chris Cooper

As the year draws to a close, Chris Cooper stepped behind the microphone for a special solo episode to reflect, distil, and share what truly matters now.

Drawing on over 14 years od conversations with inspiring leaders and changemakers on The Business Elevation Show, alongside the lived wisdom of The Elevation Collective community, Chris shared 10 Elevations for Thriving and Doing Good in the World Today.

These Elevations are not trends or theories. They are grounded insights shaped by real leadership journeys, meaningful conversations, and lived experience, exploring how we can thrive personally and professionally while contributing positively to the world around us.

In this reflective end-of-year episode, Chris spoke directly to listeners, weaving together stories, insights, and gratitude for the many remarkable people who make up the Business Elevation and Elevation Collective communities. It is both a moment to pause and reflect, and an invitation to step into the year ahead with greater intention, humanity, and purpose.

Chris Cooper is the founder of The Elevation Collective, an international community of heart-led leaders and changemakers committed to amplifying good in the world. He is also the host of The Business Elevation Show, one of the longest-running business podcasts in the world, broadcasting weekly since 2011 to listeners in over 50 countries.

Listeners can also look out for a new free ebook, 10 Elevations for Thriving and Doing Good in the World Today, available for download in early 2026 via the Chris Cooper website.

Here are some insights from the interview to carry into 2026:

1. Elevate Your Focus
Get super clear on your priorities. Strip away the noise and distractions (especially from social media and negative headlines!) and set intentional goals for the year.

2. Elevate Your Mindset
Practice positivity and optimism, reframe challenges as opportunities, and dare to “10x” your thinking. Small daily steps + big dreaming = exponential change.

3. Elevate Your Growth
Push outside your comfort zone, whether through new courses, roles, or projects—however “stretchy” they may feel!

4. Elevate Your Health
Both mental and physical health are your foundation. Consider how your work aligns with your values and take care with what you feed your mind and body.

5. Elevate Your Resilience
Setbacks are teachers—reframe failures, cultivate long-game stamina, and remember: dips in the journey are gifts for growth.

6. Elevate Your Purpose
Connect your day-to-day work to a deeper “why.” Purposeful service (big or small) is a never-ending source of energy.

7. Elevate Your Connection
Seek out meaningful relationships—with people, with nature, and especially through communities that support your aspirations.

8. Elevate Your Intelligence
Be a lifelong learner and tap into new intelligence—including human intuition and AI—to expand your possibility.

9. Elevate Your Legacy
Think bigger than possessions—how will people remember the way you made them feel and the good you left behind?

10. Elevate Your Community
Find groups that lift you, challenge your thinking, and expand your contribution. Contribution creates connection, and connection drives real change.

This episode offers a thoughtful and hopeful close to the year and a powerful opening into what’s possible next.
